About Bacup Film Festival
Nestled in the Rossendale Valley in East Lancashire,
The Bacup Film Festival is operated in association with the North West Academy of Arts.

at the Bacup Film Festival do our very best to
make our visiting film makers feel welcome and valued.
We aim to bring together film makers with varying backgrounds and abilities,
with the aim to host a festival
that is overflowing with creativity and talent, and most importantly, great
short films.
The Bacup Film Festival accepts films made by
film makers of any level,
shot on any medium.
We are looking for short fiction, documentary,
animation and experimental films to screen at the
Bacup Film Festival 2008 at the Horse and Bamboo
Theatre in Rossendale.
Entry fee is £5 per film. The closing date for entries
is Friday 8th August 2008.
